Sarah

Sarah began her journey with us in January 2022. Born and raised in Chardon, Ohio, her early connection with animals started when she was quite young, always enjoying her time spent among animals. Before becoming a tech, Sarah was a member of a 4H club, caring for cows. As she transitioned into a career here at the Animal Care Center of Pasco County, her passion expanded to exotic pets as she delved into surgery, medicine, husbandry, and phlebotomy. Her lively household includes a menagerie of animals. She has bearded dragons Karl and Harold, Nebula, the leopard gecko, Groot the crested gecko, and a spirited Pitbull/Pointer mix named Yogi. Away from work, Sarah is fond of hiking, lounging at the beach, spending quality time with her family and friends, grooving to music, and channeling her creativity through art.
